Tricia
Carella has a BA in Speech
Pathology and Audiology
with a Masters in Early
Childhood Education. Tricia
taught at Mills College
in the department of Education. At
Mills she trained both
undergraduates and graduates
to be teachers, She
has taught at a number
of schools and was recently
a director of a local
preschool. She has many
years of experience working
with children, staff,
boards and running a business.
Donna
Perham has a BS in
Nursing and has worked
in various nursing fields
throughout her career. In
addition, for the past
9 years she has volunteered
with youth programs, starting
at the elementary level
teaching PEP, which is
a class to help reduce
drug use in adolescents
and increase resiliency. She
then co-developed and
taught a program for Foothill
Middle School, called
Smart Start, which deals
with drug awareness, social
and emotional pressures
and conflict resolution.
She also co-developed
and continues to teach
a program on Depression
Awareness for Foothill
Middle School.
Both Tricia and Donna
have three teens each
of their own and have
participated in many of
their activities throughout
the years.
